Overview

A 1996 U.S. Navy historical survey recorded a wooden-hulled vessel with steel engine beds for twin eight-cylinder engines in about 30 feet of water off Isla Desecheo. It may be a World War II patrol craft, but its identity is unconfirmed. The area is marked on some maps as a Navy unexploded ordnance disposal area, so its location is not published here.[1]
