These terms apply to PuertoRicoDiveSites.com, operated from Puerto Rico (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them.
1. Information only — dive safely
The site is a reference resource. Information may be incomplete, out of date or wrong; coordinates can be approximate; ocean conditions change. It is not a substitute for nautical charts, official forecasts, training, a dive plan, a local professional or your own judgment. Read the Safety & disclaimer page. You dive at your own risk.
2. No warranty; limitation of liability
The site and its information are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our contributors are not liable for any loss, injury, damage or cost arising from use of the site or reliance on its information.
3. Dive shops and third-party links
Dive-shop listings and links to other websites are provided for convenience. A listing is not an endorsement, safety assessment or guarantee. We are not responsible for third-party sites, services or bookings. Confirm details directly with the business.
4. Your submissions
- Submit only information you believe is accurate, and say how you know it. Do not submit anything unlawful, abusive or that you have no right to share.
- By submitting a correction, a site suggestion or other information, you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use, edit, verify and publish the factual content as part of this project. We review submissions and may not use them.
- Photos are published only with the licence and credit you explicitly agree to at the time. We never take ownership of your photos.
- We do not publish submitters’ names or email addresses. See the Privacy policy.
5. Content and data
Original text, design and compilation of this site © Puerto Rico Dive Sites. Facts are cited to their sources; third-party data remains subject to its owners’ terms (for example NOAA and NWS data are U.S. public domain; map data © OpenStreetMap contributors). You may quote short excerpts with a link to the page. Automated bulk copying of the site or its database is not permitted without permission.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass its limits, scrape it at high volume, or access the admin area without authorization.
7. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable U.S. federal law.
